A Bit About Me...

Artisha Mann-Cooper is a Emmy Nominated Producer and festival selected Director with over a decade of experience in the film industry. She has expanded experience as a multi-hyphenate artist and entrepreneur with experience in business, creativity and production. Artisha grew up in Shulerville, South Carolina and she has received her BA in Economics and Finance. She began working as a business analyst straight out of college but was devastated when times fall hard after the 2007 stock market crash.

Artisha quit her job to attend the Actors Studio Drama School, Pace University where she received an MFA and also interned as an assistant producer to “Inside the Actor Studios” James Liptson. Right after graduate school, she created her first digital series which lead her to working for an all female production company Lauren Rayner Productions. She has worked on I Can I Will I Did (Selenis Leyvas & Ben Faist), Bikini Moon (Condola Rashad) directed by oscar nominated director Milcho Mancheskvi , Cinequest Audience Award winning film Slapface ( Mike Manning, Dan Hedaya), The Way Out (Sherri Shepherd), A24's Inspection (Gabrielle Union, Bokeem Woodbine, Jeremy Pope), Universal Studios Tripped Up (Leah Lewis, Vanessa Williams) and Daytime Emmy Winning TV series The Bay. 

Artisha has recently directed Functioning which was officially selected in several festival including the Poppy Jasper Film Festival.

 Additionally, Artisha has worked for Wayfarer Studio overseeing Justin Baldoni’s Six Feet Apart Experiment with mentors Cathy Yan(Birds of Prey), Brad Silberling(Casper), Nzingha Stewart(Tall Girl), Bilal Fallah & Adil El Arbi(Bad Boys 3) and an Advisory Board member for Pano (formerly New York City Women Filmmakers).
